The Friends of Ampthill Great Park and Ampthill Town Council are hosting their 3rd annual family fun week.  We have some fantastic and unusual activities for you all this year.  For the sporting enthusiasts we have Kwik Cricket, kindly hosted by Justin Brookes of Ampthill Cricket Club, Nordic Walking for juniors, kindly hosted by Elaine from Walk2Fitness, Rounders by our very own Phil Nichols and Tennis, kindly hosted by Justin Brookes.  If you enjoy nature and the outdoors then you will love our den building sessions, our park safari themed treasure hunt, a real life urban safari with meerkats, snakes, spiders, and a range of creatures for you to get up close and personal with.  The Greensand Trust rangers are hosting their ever popular bug lab and nature trail and due to popular demand the Redbornestoke Morris Dancers are hosting their Morris Dance workshop again.  There is also orienteering for juniors, kite making, art in the park, traditional games, and so much more for you to enjoy.

.....and all for only a £1.00 donation per activity to our Friends of Ampthill Great Park community group who are fundraising to improve disabled access to the park.

GUIDED WALKS IN AMPTHILL GREAT PARK

We have a couple of guided walks being organised by our Friends of Ampthill Great Park community group.  Last year our Capability Brown guided walks were really popular, as were the cream teas that followed.  We have two dates for this year 10th September and 24th October.  We hope to see you there.
