The play space offers a variety of traditional and challenging play equipment, easily accessible with toilet and cafe facilities close by.
Recent additions have included water play, a open barn shelter and natural climbing structure and den. We are also makingthe entire space more interesting and natural with lots of new trees, wildflowers and places to explore. In 2023 we will refurbish the tractor slide and introduce some musical elements.
In July 2020 we installed a climbing structure , zip wire and fully accessible trampoline and basket swing. These improvements were funded by Veiolia Environmental Trust and both Central Bedfordshire Council and Ampthill Town Council.
We check the play equipment daily and RoSPA carry out an annual safety inspection. If you have any concerns about the play area please contact the Town Council on 01525 404355.
