Markets

The market is held every Thursday in the town centre car park from 8.00am.

There is plenty on offer from household wares, fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, eggs, cheese, greek olives, turkish delight, dried fruit, nuts, freshly baked bread, cakes, pies and pastries, caribbean cuisine, children's books, natural dog treats, ladies fashions and seasonal accessories, plants, not forgetting the wonderful bric-a-brac/book stall with new items every week and their popular second-hand books.

If you are interested in becoming a market trader please contact Donna at Ampthill Town Council on 01525 404355 to discuss further. You must provide your own equipment (i.e. gazebo/market frame, covers, tables & weights). You will also have to hold public liability insurance and where relevant be registered for food safety. Pitch fees are £7.50 per 10ft frontage/3m x 3m gazebo.

Market Square - Saturday Trading. There is a Fruit and Vegetable stall on the market square on Saturdays. 

Craft Market - Every third Thursday on the market square (March to December), from 8.00am. Craft traders include: Kim Jane Jewellery, Nolattie Candles, Nothing like Wood, Stories in Glass and Studio 38 candles.
